Candidate Declaration - I confirm that the attached portfolio is all my own work* and does not include any work completed by anyone other than myself.  Task 1 - Project Proposal/ Analysis  Project Proposal Treatment The first important thing to consider when making a short film is to keep the short film length to 5 to 10 minutes, the reason for this is when putting short film into events they prefer that length plus it keeps the audiences attention up the entire screening. Task 1 Research My role I choose for this project this year is the Sound Recordist/Foley Artist since I have always had a somewhat of interest in the practice and also a camera operator for my second choice for my freeway just in case but I doubt the role I have would have many applicants but of course I can wrong.  Research  Factual Programming - An introduction - Google Docs Documentary has three categories Information , Education, Entertainment. Informational - Is to inform the viewer on a certain topic and anything regarding it. Educational - The intent is make the audience learn something new about the topic the video is about. Entertainment - The intent is to purely for the sake of making entertaining  for the viewer to watch on the subject without needing long drawn out facts about the subject of the video.   6 modes/Styles of Documentary Poetic - They focus on experiences and showing the viewers the world through difference lenses, it is abstract in nature.
